Senior Geospatial Insights Analyst

- Provide COVID-19 related Geospatial analysis and report to the Prime Minister and Cabinet. Visualise and simplify large amount of complex information as maps, charts.
- Manage All of Government ArcGIS Enterprise systems: design databases to store all COVID-19 related information, use ArcGIS Enterprise groups and FME automations to increase data sharing between various agencies.
- Data Integrity: thoroughly check the accuracy and consistency of the data collected. Ensure Senior Ministers have the most accurate data to inform decision making.
GIS Analyst/Developer
Bay of Plenty Regional Council
June 2012 - November 2021
- Enterprise GIS System Design and Management: being the administrator of ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Portal for the Regional Council, Civil Defence Bay of Plenty, Predator Free BOP and Top of the North Marine Portal.
- System Integration and Automation: Tasked to integrate GIS with other enterprise systems using FME Server. Connecting enterprise GIS database and online data store with other enterprise SQL databases.
